Register for the free Will offer
From the 1st October until the end of December, Norfolk and Waveney Mind have partnered with The National Free Wills Network. This means we are offering you the opportunity to have a simple Will written or updated in person, for free with a local solicitor.
To use this service, request a pack to be sent to your home address within two weeks. This pack will have details of some local solicitors who participate in the National Free Wills Network and details of how to contact one of the solicitors to make an appointment (T&Cs apply).
Will Guide
Knowing that your will is in order gives you peace of mind, in the knowledge that your wishes will be carried out. Many people decide that after they’ve taken care of their loved ones, they would also like to leave a gift to a charity. Leaving a legacy enables you to show your commitment to a charity without feeling the impact financially now.
Whether you’re writing a Will for the first time or updating your existing one, it doesn’t have to be complicated.
We’ve developed a Will guide for you to use that contains loads of helpful information when writing or updating your Will.
There’s no obligation to leave us a gift in your will, but if you do choose to remember us, thank you. With your help, we can create a future where no one in Norfolk and Waveney has to face poor mental health alone.
Although we are part of the national Mind network, we are a local independent charity and raise our own funds.
Services such as our REST hubs rely on supporters donations to keep their doors open. REST is a partnership project that brings together mental health support, local services and a place where everyone can feel welcome. They are based at the heart of the community where support is delivered to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties in a non-clinical environment.
Thanks to the kindness of supporters like you, we are able to provide vital care for thousands of people a year in Norfolk and Waveney. Our work can be the difference between life and death for people in mental health crisis.
If you have any questions or want to tell us about a gift in a will there are a number of ways that we can support you.
We won’t put you under any pressure, we’ll never ask you how much you plan to leave, and you can change your mind at any time
